Easiest and Yummiest Potato Soup!


You know it's fall when I start pulling out the soup recipes!  I am absolutely thrilled, by the way, that my favorite season is here!

I am so excited about this recipe.  I originally found it on this blog.  It sounded so easy, I knew I had to try it.  It ended up being possibly one of the best soups I have ever made.  You must try it (well only if you like potato soup).

The one thing I really loved about this recipe is that you use frozen hash browns instead of potato chunks.  It saves so much time and I personally liked it in my soup better.  Wish I had thought of it before!

I also loved that it's a crock pot recipe.  Using the crock pot is one of my most favorite things!  We topped our soup with bacon, cheese & sour cream.  Yum!

  4. Made this tonight and added some salt to the soup and 2 small cans of diced green chili's; since my hubby likes things with a kick. Also, used an immersion blender to help smooth out the soup. The soup was a hit with my family and guests. Thanks!!
